we
treat
Chiropractic Adjustment
The chiropractic adjustment is a precise, hands-on technique applied to joints that have become stiff or restricted. When a joint isn't moving the way it should, it can contribute to pain, tension, and compensations elsewhere in the body. The adjustment restores motion to those areas, which helps reduce discomfort, improve how the surrounding tissues function, and give the nervous system clearer information to work with.
Corrective Exercise
Movement requires coordination across multiple joints at once. When one area is restricted or unstable, other parts of the body pick up the slack, and that's often where problems develop. When the assessment reveals a mobility or stability limitation, Dr. Kyle will prescribe specific exercises to address it directly. These aren't generic rehab movements. They're targeted to what your body actually needs, progressed as you improve, and explained so you understand why you're doing them.
Force Plate Assessment
A dual force plate assessment measures how you distribute and generate force through each foot during everyday movements like standing, walking, and more dynamic tasks. By placing one plate under each foot, we get a clear, objective picture of how your body is loading, where asymmetries exist, and how that might be contributing to pain or limiting your recovery. It takes the guesswork out of the assessment and gives us a more precise starting point for your plan.
Manual Therapy
Hands-on soft tissue work addresses tension, restriction, and irritation in muscles, tendons, ligaments, and the connective tissue around them. Dr. Kyle uses several techniques depending on what the assessment shows, including methods that combine precise pressure with active movement to restore normal tissue function. This is typically used alongside the adjustment and corrective exercise, not as a standalone treatment.
Strength and Conditioning
Building strength is a core part of how we approach care. A body that is stronger and better conditioned is more resilient, recovers faster, and holds up better over time. Whether you're returning to activity after an injury or working to stay ahead of one, we incorporate strength-based training into your plan in a way that is appropriate to where you are right now and where you want to go.
Mobility Training
Mobility is about more than flexibility. It's the ability to actively control your joints through their full range of motion, with stability and coordination intact. If you can stretch into a position but can't control it under load, that's a gap worth addressing. We use targeted exercises to improve how your joints move and how your body manages that movement, which translates directly to how you feel during the activities that matter to you.
How it all fits together
Each of these tools is used in combination, not in isolation. Dr. Kyle draws on whichever approach, or combination of approaches, is right for where you are in your recovery and what you're working toward.
The plan evolves as you do. What you need in the first few sessions is usually different from what you need later on. That's intentional.
